Applebee’s Reviewย

One of our favorites restaurants to eat at is Applebee’s. ๐ŸŽ I personally love it for most of the appetizers, the pasta ๐Ÿ dishes, the kiwi ๐Ÿฅ lemonade, & the chocolate desserts!

Anyways this past Tuesday we went to an Applebee’s in New Hampshire for suppa!

I had a kiwi ๐Ÿฅ lemondade, chicken wanton tacos ๐ŸŒฎ as an appetizer, & pasta ๐Ÿ for the main dish of my suppa!

I have to say the everything from the kiwi ๐Ÿฅ lemonade to the pasta ๐Ÿ dish I had was truly amazing!!! ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‹

The staff and atmosphere at Applebee’s is so amazing especially the ones in New England who’s decor is all about the professional sports teams in New England! โค๏ธ

I would absolutely recommend people eating at an Applebee’s ๐ŸŽ for a meal!

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Vinegar Sauceย

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Vinegar Sauce:

3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/4 teaspoon dried basil ๐ŸŒฟ

1//2 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 lamb chops, 3/4 inch thick

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup minced shallots

1/3 cup aged balsamic vinegar

3/4 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon butter

1-2 tablespoons flour

In a small bowl or cup; mix together the rosemary, basil, thyme, salt, & pepper. Rub this mixture into the lamb chops on both sides. Place them on a plate, cover and set aside for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place lamb chops in the skillet, and cook for about 3 & 1/2 minutes per side for medium rarer or continue to cook to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm on a serving platter.

Add shallots to the skillet, cook for a few minutes, just until browned. Stir in vinegar, scraping any bits of lamb from the bottom of the skillet, then stir in the chicken broth. Add in flour to help thicken the sauce. Continue to cook and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has reduced by half. If you don’t, the sauce will be runny and not good. Remove from the heat, and stir in the butter. Pour over lamb chops.

Serve and enjoy! โ˜บ๏ธ
{Serve over a bed of fresh greens and tomatoes ๐Ÿ…, or over a bed of rice with tomatoes ๐Ÿ… on the side.}

Pasta Birthday Supppaย

My birthday is August 14th and every year I’m lucky to have such an amazing family who always asks me what I want for suppa also known as dinner ๐Ÿด, it’s sort of a family tradition that if it’s your birthday you always get what you want for suppa on your birthday ๐ŸŽ‰ no matter what. My favorite foods are all pastas ๐Ÿ, soups ๐Ÿœ, chocolate ๐Ÿซ, & lobster so naturally I’m always going to have 1 if not 2 or more of theses things for food on my birthday ๐ŸŽ‰ which I did this year! ๐Ÿ˜ For my birthday dinner ๐Ÿด I had pasta ๐Ÿ shells with my Momma’s delicious homemade sauce! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ It was beyond delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ as always, And thankfully we’ve had enough for leftovers for the last few days! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Pasta ๐Ÿ Birthday ๐ŸŽ‰ Suppa with My Momma’s Homemade Pasta Sauce:

1-2 lbs Medium Pasta Shells

1.75 lbs ground beef, cooked

1.75 lbs ground Italian sausage, cooked

2 lbs homemade crushed/mushed tomatoes ๐Ÿ…, drained of seeds

1-2 containers sliced fresh mushrooms, found at the grocery store

1 Yellow bell pepper, sliced & chopp slices in half

1 Red bell pepper, sliced & chopp slices in half

1 Green bell pepper, sliced & chopp slices in half

4-6 celery stalks, chopped thinly about 1 inch or so

2-3 Zucchinis, sliced & chopped into quarters

1-2 medium onions, chopped

5-8 tbsps garlic powder or more if you really like garlic

3-4 tbsps onion powder

1-2 pinches salt

1-2 pinches black pepper

Parmesan cheese ๐Ÿง€, grated; for garnish

Prep everything that needs to be preped. Crush/mush two pounds of tomatoes ๐Ÿ… for the sauce base. Strain to get all the seeds out. Put the crushed/mushed base of the sauce into a sauce pain big enough to hold it all.

Cook the ground beef until completely browned, then cook the ground Italian sausage until completely browned. Once the ground beef and ground sausage are completely browned, put both into the pan that the base to your sauce is in. Stir to combine.

Sautรฉ the veggies individual until all of them – the mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, and celery are somewhat brown a little. Once they’re all sautรฉed add them to the same pain you did the ground beef. Stirring to combine.

Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stirring to combine. You may add more of these seasonings if you’d like, make it to you and your family’s tastes.

This sauce is best if it’s made first thing in the morning so it can summer all day long.

Once it’s getting close to suppa time, cook and drain the pasta ๐Ÿ shells according to package directions.

In a suppa bowl, put the pasta in the bowl than top with the sauce. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.

Serve hot and enjoy! โค๏ธ
